eARC/ARC Audio Receiver Module
Circal’s eARC/ARC Audio Receiver Module is a fully featured eARC/ARC to I2S audio converter. Intended for high-end audio applications, it is easy to implement within a new or existing system architectures.
- PCM up to 8 channels, 24-bit/192kHz in I2S format.
- 4-lane I2S outputs in eARC mode.
- IEC60958 (SPDIF) output for legacy ARC support.
- Audio formats supported include PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS, DTS HD, DTS HD-MA and DTS:X.
- Module automatically configures to eARC or ARC functionality (determined during authentication phase with the TV).
- Host micro can be used to firmware update the eARC/ARC module. API supplied in firmware specification.
- Standby capable with ARC/eARC wake-up functionality.
- Module control and status via SPI interface.
- Single +5V power supply to power module.
