Dual input port (I2S and USB) Audio Module, MQA enabled.
Add a full-featured USB/I2S solution to any high-end audio product. Easy integration into a new or existing product, i.e. Pre Amp, Surround Sound Processor or DAC.
- Support for: 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192, 352.8 and 384kHz PCM, DSD64/128/256 (Native) and DSD64/128 (DoP).
- MQA decoding modes supported (both USB and I2S inputs).
- Two input ports: USB input and I2S input, The I2S port allows all supported digital input and network connections to be routed to module for MQA decoding.
- Module can be configured as system clock (MCLK) master or slave, allowing easy integration into preferred system architecture for optimum time-domain performance.
- Asynchronous USB transfer for optimal timing precision - dual master clocks: one for 44.1, 88.2, 176.4, 352.8kHz and DSD the second for 48, 96, 192 and 384kHz.
- I2S input accepts all common sample rates/quantisation resolutions, i.e. 44.1kHz to 384kHz, 16 to 32 bits).
- Audio transmitted from module at native rate - easy to add in-house post-processing IP.
- Optional support for mobile device connectivity and battery charging can be added: iOS to 192kHz/24 bits and Android. Battery charging up to 2.4A, allowing iPad, iPhone and iPod to be charged to Apple's specifications.
- Optional support for Apple's authentication protocols.
- Optional Android support for Samsung's Galaxy devices.
- Simple Interface requirements: Power (+5V), Audio (I2S), Control (SPI).
- Module can be Galvanically Isolated (power, data, and control) from rest of system.
- Designed to be software upgradable - from system microcontroller over SPI.
- Small form factor (80mm * 50mm / 3.15" * 2").
